Prepare for your outpatient appointment
Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled outpatient appointment and bring your health insurance card. The earlier arrival means being at the hospital twenty minutes ahead of the stated appointment time. Keep the insurance card with you so it is available when you report for the visit.
Check in at reception with the referral, the medication list and the health insurance card. Reception therefore needs all three items together when the outpatient visit is registered. The referral relates to the appointment, the list provides the medication information and the card supplies the required insurance details.
One accompanying person may come to the outpatient appointment with you. The first 30 minutes of parking in the hospital car park are free, so no parking charge applies during that initial half hour. This free period begins with the first thirty minutes rather than covering a longer stay.
Outpatient check-in is located on the first floor of Building B. This is the stated building and floor for reporting before the appointment. If the visit must be cancelled, the cancellation can be made until 12:00 on the previous working day, which sets both the relevant day and the midday deadline.
